• Welcome to the blog of Luxe Fête. We are a full service international event planning and design studio based in Miami, Florida. Global clients seek our services to plan, design, and produce their events. We have executed events around the world, with much of our work featured in national publications. Before channeling my creative energy into this field, I was an attorney at top law firms and clerked for a Federal Judge. It did not take long to realize I’d rather be telling stories by transforming spaces and creating beautiful atmospheres. Stay awhile - we would love to hear from you! Nous aimerions entendre parler de vous! Nos encantaría saber de usted! Gostaríamos muito de ouvir de você! Be sure to also visit our website: www.luxefete.com

Happy Father’s Day Mon Cher Père

An 18-year-old boy in Haiti, who thirty-six years later would pen a letter to his daughter tuning 18: “Nathalie, to be an adult means that first you are entering the world of big decision makers. You should be responsible. You are the one who will decide if you should study to be a professional and perform adequately and respectfully. You will decide whether or not you will contribute to the stability and evolution of society. You will decide to help or not help your brother, your sisters, your father, your mother, your family when they are in need. You will decide to have a respectable life or not . . . Daughter, keep in mind that life can either be easy or difficult. Most of the time it is up to every one of us and our level of wisdom. Your encyclopedia (Mom and Dad) will always want to help you.”

Though I have Google now (I use to love my encyclopedia), I turn to this man for grace and guidance every day. I miss my father so much. But with each passing day, I gain a sense of understanding of what he and my mother have laid out for us and the responsibility and honor that comes with it. Happy Father’s Day Mon Cher Père. MISS YOU. LOVE YOU.

Luxe Fête at Versace Mansion

It is a beautiful thing when a career and passion come together.  My passion is curating events and experiences that take one’s breath away. “How do you stay inspired Nathalie?” I am often asked. The answer is easy. I allow myself to dream. One night, I literally dreamt I had a bride who wanted a black and gold cake (It’s always about the sweets for me). I wondered, “Who is this girl? What would her story be? And how can I tell it? A clear vision of a styled shoot at the Versace Mansion came into view.  And. This. Is. It.  A picture is worth more than a thousand words, so I will allow these moments eloquently captured by my co-dreamer Diana Lupu to tell the story. So grateful for my “dream team” who brought it to life. Just amazing professionals to work with:

Planning and Design: Luxe Fête; Photographer: Diana Lupu; Cake: Dominque Couture Cakes; Florals: Sprout Flowers; Berta Wedding Gown and Veil: Chic Parisien; Jewelry: Maria Elena Headpieces; Bridal Styling: Dress Voyage; Make Up: Natasha Gross Makeup Artistry; Hair: Melanie Torres; Furniture and Linens: Nuage Designs; Tableware: Z Gallerie; Paper Suite: Letter Heads

I hope you enjoy!

Luxe Fête at Versace Mansion Inspiration

First things first: Inspiration Boards. I create inspiration boards for all of my clients. This serves as a guiding light for every element of the design and helps guide every vendor involved. For our Versace Mansion Photoshoot, we drew inspiration from Italy, where Gianni Versace was born, as well as Medusa, a very prominent symbol for the House of Versace. Gold was a natural accent choice for us to work with. It’s rich, classic and brilliant. We juxtaposed this with black throughout the design. I find that many clients have juxtapositions in their relationships. It is what what makes them interesting. The same theory applies in design. Mix different textures, different themes, different objects and you will definitely have a storied and beautiful design.  We love telling our clients story through our work!
